#Labocosmetics detailers care for Lopresto car at Concorso Eleganza Villa d'Este
From May 19 to 21, the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este 2023, one of the world's most important festivals dedicated to classic cars, takes place on the shores of Lake Como. Detailers from the #Labocosmetica team take care of the Lancia Florida Coupé with which Corrado Lopresto is participating.
Fifty-four four-wheel-drive masterpieces will compete in Cernobbio from May 19 to 21 for the prestigious trophy at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este 2023. It was back in 1929 when the first edition of this event, considered by many to be, along with Pebble Beach (California), the most famous event dedicated to historic cars in the world, was held .
The competition cannot be missed by our Brand Ambassador Corrado Lopresto, Italy's largest collector of classic cars. Corrado is participating with a beautiful Lancia Florida Coupe from 1955. The car was taken over by detailers from the #Labocosmetica team for a full Car Detailing treatment that restored it to its original splendor.

There are 8 classes into which the cars admitted to the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este are divided: from the category dedicated to the 24 Hours of Le Mans, to pre-war cars, from maharajahs ' cars to European GTs. But that's not all there is to it! There are also Porsches celebrating the Stuttgart company's 75th anniversary, Made in Italy cars, "Best in Show" cars, and racing models from before and after World War II.
The 2023 edition of the Concorso d'Eleganza at Villa d'Este is also an opportunity to preview a number of new cars, including the Rolls Royce Spectre, the British automaker's first electric car, the new BMW 5 Series, the Mini Cooper SE Convertible, and a new edition of the BMW 3 . 0 CSL flanked by its ancestor, the 1973 BMW 3.0 CSL.

The Lancia Florida Coupe by Corrado Lopresto
The car with which Corrado Lopresto is participating in the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este 2023 is part of his collection, one of the most important in the world.
The Lancia Florida Coupé was first displayed on the Pinin Farina coachbuilder 's stand at the1955 Turin Motor Show. Made on the chassis of the Aurelia B56, this two-door coupe-bodied car is one of a kind .
The Florida's design, characterized by straight lines and sharp edges, would influence the automotive design world for the next decade, ushering in a new generation of cars that abandoned the curved, rounded lines of the 1950s in favor of squarer shapes typical of the 1960s.
Our detailers performed a complete car detailing treatment: from washing to polishing including a protective treatment. The 2023 edition of the Concorso di Villa d'Este starts with the classic Prelude Tour, an itinerary that from the heart of Milan, through places of history and landscape, takes the cars to their final destination on Lake Como. About 20 cars are on display in Piazza della Scala, from where they depart in the direction of Cernobbio. Along the way they pass through Castello Sforzesco, Parco Sempione and then arrive at the Cimitero Maggiore. The cars then continue on to Uboldo, where they are expected around 12:15 p.m., before passing through Tradate and then arriving in San Fermo della Battaglia and finally on the shores of Lake Como to parade along the lakefront in Cernobbio. Arriving at Villa d'Este, the cars are subjected to routine checks, and here the classic welcome party takes place.

Starting at 9:30 a.m., the cars are displayed in the Villa d'Este park. The parade in front of the jury members is scheduled to begin at 4:30 pm. At Villa Erba, on the other hand, the "Amici&Automobili - Wheels&Weisswürscht" event takes place, which originated in Munich and is animated by vehicles of all types and makes, brought by various clubs from around the world. Finally, from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., there is anauction by Sotheby's.

Between 7:30 a.m. and 8:45 a.m., the cars move from Villa d'Este to Villa Erba, where the public can admire them until 6 p.m., casting their votes. At 2 p.m. , the parade begins in front of the jury and the public, and then returns to Villa d'Este for the end-of-event party.
