Labocosmetica at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas: rendezvous with the new era of car detailing
The SEMA Show is America's big event dedicated to customizing, car care and refinement, taking place from October 31 to November 3 in the city of Nevada. We at Labocosmetica are looking forward to it.
From Oct. 31 to Nov. 3, Las Vegas hosts the 2023 edition of the SEMA Show, America's largest event dedicated to car accessories, parts and tuning.
The fair is dedicated to auto maintenance professionals, and on Nov. 3 and 4 there is also SEMA Fest-a music, sports and car festival-an event designed for all enthusiasts.
SEMA Show, a success story
The SEMA Show has a very long tradition, having held its first edition called "Speed & Custom Equipment" in January 1967 in Los Angeles.
Ten years later, the SEMA Show moved to the Las Vegas Convention Center, where it is still held to this day. Instead, the audience party, with concerts, drifting and other performances, is held at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds.
Today this event is a trade show of innovative products, customization trends, and demonstration sessions that also attracts major manufacturers. More than 160,000 visitors, 70,000 store buyers, 3,300 media representatives and 2,400 exhibiting companies are expected at this year's SEMA Show.
Exhibitors are largely manufacturers of components to improve performance, style, comfort, and safety of cars, SUVs, and trucks. Alongside the booths of manufacturers and large aftermarket accessory manufacturers, there is no shortage of small companies of enthusiasts and start-ups of innovators.
On display are more than 3,000 new products in the New Products Showcase section and 1,500 vehicles. Business, technology and marketing seminars are also scheduled during the event.
The pavilions host interior and exterior tuning products and car care, sections dedicated to restoration, racing, hot rods, electronics, accessories, tires and wheels.
